New London Businesses Among 14 Recent Liquor License Suspensions
A total of 14 establishments had their liquor licenses suspended by the Connecticut Liquor Control Commission during May and June.

NEW LONDON, CT — A total of 14 Connecticut businesses, including two establishments in New London, had their liquor licenses suspended during May and June 2018, according to public information from the Department of Consumer Protection's Liquor Control Commission.
In New London, Octane at 19 Tilley Street served a two-day license suspension in June, while Deli International at 57 Blackhall Street had a single-day suspension.
Suspensions ranged from one day to indefinite, and fines between $500 and $5,000 were meted out for various offenses, including selling liquor to minors, refusal of cooperation by permittees and backers, smoking, dispersing of liquor without a permit, minors in barrooms and suspension of permit for failure to pay unemployment compensation contributions.
