New London Cornavirus Update: Be Aware Of Fake Tests
Police are warning residents after they found fake tests being sold at a New London convenience store.
NEW LONDON, CT — Residents are being warned of a scam involving fake at-home test kits for COVID-19, according to a Twitter post from New London police. The fake kits were found at a local convenience store.
Police warned residents to be aware of all scams related to the pandemic.
People who are experiencing symptoms consistent with the virus should stay home unless it's an emergency, according to the Ledge Light Health District. If you have a fever and cough or shortness of breath, call your regular doctor or the Yale New Haven Health System COVID-19 Hotline at 203-688-1700.

You can only be tested for COVID-19 if a doctor requests for you to be tested and you've scheduled an appointment, according to the Ledge Light Health District
