New London Development, Planning Director Set To Leave In 2018

New London officials said the director of the city's Office of Development and Planning will leave her role in 2018.

NEW LONDON, CT — New London officials said the director of the city’s Office of Development and Planning, Tammy Daugherty, will vacate her role at the end of January, the New London Day reported. She has served in this role for six years.

Daugherty is a licensed broker and plans to work in real estate development and project management consulting, as reported by the New London Day. Her last day will be Jan. 26, 2018.

Mayor Michael Passero said he was not surprised by the news, as Daugherty gave him ample warning about her plans to leave, according to the New London Day. He also said plans to fill her position are currently in the works.
