New London High School Names New Football Coach
The new coach replaces Duane Maranda, who resigned after four seasons.

NEW LONDON, CT - Juan Roman, a 1984 graduate of New London High School, has been named as the school's new football coach, officials announced.
Roman replaces two-time state championship coach Duane Maranda, who resigned after four years, reports The Day.
"It's an honor to be entrusted with the opportunity to lead my alma mater into a new era of our football tradition," said Roman in a statement, as reported by The Day. "The limitless possibilities that our tremendous magnet school district offers the student-athletes is truly exciting."
