This year’s clinic is a regional exercise spearheaded by Ledge Light Health District in which four hospitals, five health districts, UCFS (Community Health), American Ambulance, Disaster Behavioral Health Network and other partners will work together using a scenario of the bird flu to provide vaccinations quickly and safely. The New London Emergency Management, New London Police, and New London High School have been working behind the scenes with Ledge Light Health District planning this exercise for several months.
A flu consent form is required from each participant. Forms can be downloaded from www.llhd.org or obtained at the Drive-Thru.
