NEW LONDON, CT — Ocean Beach Park lifeguards and firefighters are being credited with resuscitating a man who overdosed Wednesday afternoon, The Day reported.

Lifeguards performed CPR on the 30-year-old victim while waiting for firefighters and an ambulance to arrive. Firefighters then administered two doses of Narcan to the victim, who was transported to a local hospital.
