New London Makes Decision On Schools Thursday

NEW LONDON, CT — School officials announced Wednesday that New London Public Schools would be closed Thursday, Jan. 4, due to inclement weather. The announcement was made on the district website.

Due to the intensity of this predicted storm, city officials also said Wednesday that city offices will also be closed Thursday, except for Emergency Operations of Fire, Police, Public Works and employees who are specifically assigned to the warming center/shelter at the Senior Center.

The city's Emergency Operations Center will also be in operation at Fire Headquarters.
