New London Man Accused Of Flashing At Mall In Mansfield

MANSFIELD, CT — A New London man has been charged in a flashing incident at Mansfield's East Brook Mall, state police said.

At 7:43 a.m. Tuesday, state police from the Troop C barracks were dispatched to the mall after receiving a report about a man exposing himself in the parking lot, according to an incident report.

As Troopers were en route, the caller told dispatchers that the man was exiting the mall parking lot in a white van, and state police caught up with him on North Frontage Road and stopped him on High Street, according to an incident report. He was identified as 29-year-old Dante Moore, of New London.

State police were told by the caller that Moore was nude from the waist down, in the driver's seat of the van, with the driver's door wide open, thus exposing himself to the public. Moore was charged with public indecency and breach of peace and was assigned a court date of Sept. 13 after being released on a $5,000 bond.
