Built in the mid-1700s as a functioning livestock farm, Deans Mill Farm has gone through an evolution in recent decades. A full renovation of the historic buildings and rejuvenation of the surrounding 70+ acres has made the property into the incredible venue it is today. Deans Mill Farm now operates primarily as a private event space and five-room bed and breakfast tucked down a private road in Stonington, Connecticut. NEW LONDON, CT – Police arrested a man early Friday for his <a href="http://www.theday.com/article/20161014/NWS04/161019494" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">alleged connection to a home invasion</a> involving a grill fork, The Day reported.  Talala Holder, 34, is suspected of <a href="http://www.theday.com/article/20161014/NWS04/161019494" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">kicking open an unoccupied apartment door</a> and attacking two people, according to The Day. Police said the victims suffered injuries that were not life-threatening.  Officers were told Holder attempted to <a href="http://www.theday.com/article/20161014/NWS04/161019494" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">stab the victims with a "grilling-type" fork</a>, but only managed to strike one as the two fought off the alleged assailant and got him out of the apartment, The Day reported.
