New London Man Charged With Armed Robbery: Police
A man was arrested on charges that he robbed a New London restaurant while armed, according to police.
NEW LONDON, CT — Police arrested a man accused of being involved in an armed robbery. Police responded at 10:58 p.m. to a report of a robbery at Wings and Pies restaurant at 131 State St.
A man and a woman had entered the restaurant regarding a Grubhub order that they did not receive. The man caused a disturbance over the order, then went into the rear of the restaurant and implied that he had a weapon in his waistband while removing food items from the restaurant.
The man reportedly pointed the gun at an employee who had confronted him outside the restaurant, according to police. He then fled in a vehicle.

Police later located and seized the vehicle, identified the man and woman involved, and recovered the gun used in the crime.
No shots were fired and no one was injured.

Police arrested Trevor Julius, 25, of New London, and charged him with first-degree robbery, carrying a pistol without a permit, second-degree breach of peace, and sixth-degree larceny.
He was held on $100,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in New London Superior Court on Thursday.
