New London Man Charged With Gun, Drug Crimes: Police

A New London man was charged with drug and gun crimes following a probation compliance check, police said.

NEW LONDON, CT — A New London man was charged with drug and gun crimes following a probation compliance check, according to police. Police went to Sidney Woodhall-Blake's Sharaf Street home Wednesday at 4:21 p.m. to assist with a probation compliance check.

Police said they found and seized 34 grams of crack cocaine/fentanyl mix, cutting agents, an oxycodone pill, several suboxone strips, $3,480 in cash, a digital scale, and a 9MM handgun.

Woodhall-Blake, 24, was charged with operating a drug factory, criminal possession of a firearm, criminal possession of ammunition, three counts of possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Woodhall-Blake was on probation for a possession with intent to sell narcotics conviction from 2019 at the time of his arrest.
