New London Man Faces Years in Prison for Possessing More than 60 Grams of Heroin
A man arrested in February is facing prison after a large amount of heroin was found in his apartment.

NEW LONDON, CT -- A man arrested six months ago pleaded guilty Wednesday to possessing more than 60 grams of heroin, The Day reported.
Jacob Mena, 24, was arrested in February after 64 grams of heroin were seized from his New London apartment by state and local police, according to The Day. Mena appeared in court Wednesday and accepted a plea deal.
The deal will sentence Mena to 10 years in prison, suspended after four with three years probation after, The Day reported. He will appear in court on Oct. 28 for sentencing.
