New London Man Pleads Guilty To 2017 Shooting: Report

A New London man will serve 17 years in prison in connection with a fatal shooting.

NEW LONDON, CT — A former New London man has accepted a plea deal to serve 17 years in prison rather than stand trial for murder, according to The New London Day. Jamir Johnson, 23, pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter with a firearm and carrying a pistol without a permit.

Johnson was accused in the 2017 fatal shooting of Quvonte "Q" Andre Gray.
