A man has pleaded guilty to charges that he used a baseball bat and a plunger to assault two people, according to a report.
NEW LONDON, CT — A New London man has pleaded guilty to charges that he used a baseball bat and a plunger to assault two people during a fight last year, according to The New London Day. Daniel Pont, 41, accepted a plea deal as jury selection for his trial was about to start.
Pont pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree assault in the New London case and two counts of fifth-degree larceny tied to charges in a Waterford case. He faces up to 11 years in prison.
