He is accused of fatally shooting and killing in man in August 2013.

NEW LONDON, CT- A New London man who shot and killed another man in 2013 was sentenced Tuesday to 20 years in prison, the Norwich Bulletin reported.
Keith Delvalle, 31, apologized and asked for forgiveness at his sentencing, claiming that he hoped the victim’s family finds peace in time, according to the Norwich Bulletin. He is accused of fatally shooting Jesus Pinero, 29, in New London in Aug. 2013.
Delvalle pleaded guilty under a plea bargain, meaning he admits enough evidence exists to find him guilty at trial whether he agrees with it or not, the Norwich Bulletin reported. About 16 of Pinero’s friends and family attended the sentencing, wherein two family members offered Delvalle their forgiveness.
