New London Man Slashed 21 Vehicles' Tires: Police
A man was arrested on charges that he slashed vehicles' tires in municipal parking lots last week, according to police.
NEW LONDON, CT — A New London man has been charged with slashing the tires of 21 cars Friday night, according to police.
Nicholas Worthy, 41, was charged with 21 counts of third-degree mischief.
Police responded to municipal parking lots in downtown New London at 9:19 p.m. Friday on a report of a man damaging car tires.

Police found a man matching the witnesses' description and he was taken into custody. Police found 21 cars had been damaged.
He is scheduled to appear in New London Superior Court on Nov. 14.

In February, police discovered that 25 vehicles had their tires slashed in an overnight incident.
