New London Mayor Reaffirms Commitment to Immigrants and Refugees
"We are all immigrants, and as such we must respect each other..."

NEW LONDON, CT - New London Mayor Michael Passero said in a release that he is calling for a gathering on Thursday, February 2, of both faith and civic community leaders.
"This administration has and will continue to respect the constitutional rights of all our residents regardless of race, color, ethnicity, religion or immigration status," Passero said in a release. "We are all immigrants, and as such we must respect each other and all those who desire to be members of our great community."
The gathering will take place Thursday at 1 p.m. in the lobby of City Hall, located at 181 State Street.
