New London Election 2017 Results: Winners Revealed In Key Races

NEW LONDON, CT — The polls have closed in New London and winners are starting to be revealed in key races. Dozens of candidates are on the ballot for this year's local election.

Here are the unofficial results of the New London City Council and Board of Education races, according to the CT Secretary of State election center:

City Council (vote for any seven)

• Anthony Nolan (D): 1,803 votes
• John D. Satti (D): 1,796 votes
• Don Venditto, Jr. (D): 1,703 votes
• Martin T. Olsen, Jr. (R): 1,526 votes
• Efrain Dominguez, Jr. (D): 1,512 votes
• Michael J. Tranchida (D): 1,492 votes
• Alma D. Nartatez (D): 1,465 votes
