A building long familiar to local residents as a beloved auto body shop in the Mago Point section of Waterford has been thoughtfully reintroduced as Gather 360, a boutique gathering space designed for smaller, memorable celebrations. The venue is especially suited for bridal and baby showers, rehearsal dinners, micro-weddings, and other intimate gatherings. Rather than a traditional banquet hall, the setting feels relaxed and welcoming, allowing guests to open the three-bay garage doors and move comfortably between indoor gathering rooms and the surrounding outdoor areas. A full renovation of the historic buildings and rejuvenation of the surrounding 70+ acres has made the property into the incredible venue it is today. Lanier will be awarded among other civil rights leaders by the state Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities.  She will receive the award during <a href="http://www.theday.com/local/20161116/new-london-naacp-member-to-receive-state-award" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">a ceremony in the Old Judiciary Room</a> at the state Capitol taking place from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., The Day reported.
