New London Officer Injured In Dirt Bike Incident: Police
Police are investigating after a dirt bike rider struck and injured an officer Friday night.
NEW LONDON, CT — Police are investigating after a dirt bike rider struck and injured an officer Friday night. Police were following up on multiple reports of dirt bikes and ATVs driving erratically in different areas of New London on Friday night.
Police found multiple dirt bikes and ATVs in the area of 442 Colman St. An officer was on foot at that location.
The rider of one of the dirt bikes drove at the officer and struck them. The officer sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at and released from Lawrence + Memorial Hospital.
