New London Police To Install Surveillance Cameras
The city has approved a contract to install more than three dozen cameras.

NEW LONDON, CT — The police department has a plan to install more than three dozenmore than three dozen surveillance cameras around New London's roads and parks, according to The New London Day. The city council approved a $366,423 contract with Cross Cameras Controls for the purchase and installation of the system.
Police officials said the cameras are intended to increase public safety and reduce crime rates.
