New London Police Investigating Double Stabbing Incident

NEW LONDON, CT – Police are investigating a double stabbing that occurred Wednesday evening, and area asking anyone with information to contact them.

At approximately 10:44 p.m., police received calls of a stabbing incident near Crystal Avenue, according to a release. Upon responding, officers located a male stab victim on the fourth floor of a building.

The victim appeared to have several stab wounds and injuries. While medical care was being administered by the fire department to the stab victim, police located a second stab victim.

The victims were identified by police as Nahvon Carroll, 22, of Groton and Nahkym Carroll, 19. Both men were transported to L&M Hospital by the fire department for additional medical care.

The medical status of the two victims has not been revealed at this time.

Police said evidence was secured from the area and multiple leads are being investigated. Anyone with information is asked to contact police immediately.
