New London Police K-9 Dies Unexpectedly
K-9 officer Asher was a drug detection dog who served with New London police for a year and a half.

NEW LONDON, CT — Police tweeted the sudden passing of its K-9 Asher.
"NLPD is sad to inform everyone that NLPD K9 Officer Asher passed away unexpectedly yesterday afternoon while at home. Asher was a Narcotic Detection dog and served with us for approximately 18 months. K9 Asher End of Watch 7/2/2020. Rest In Peace!"
