New London Police Rescue Sick Seal
Police got a rather unusual rescue call over the weekend.
NEW LONDON, CT - New London Police rescued a sick seal that had been stranded at Ocean Beach Saturday. Police wrapped the seal in a blanket and transported it to Mystic Aquarium to take care of the seal.
Recently recovered New London visitor! On 2/9/19 @ approx. 1:06 pm, NL ACO responded to Ocean Beach Park for the report of a stranded seal. Sure enough, ACO Duso located & secured a baby seal. Arrangements were made w/Mystic Aquarium for further care of our recovered visitor. pic.twitter.com/88BcB7X7f8
