NEW LONDON PUBLIC SCHOOLS NEW MOBILE APP TO KEEP COMMUNITY INFORMED AND INVOLVED
District delivers information in a more user-friendly format for smartphones
New London, CT – New London Public Schools today launched a free, official mobile app designed to enable parents, staff, students and the broader community to stay informed and up-to-date on important issues, information and activities underway within the school community. The app, which proudly displays the district’s logo, colors and content, can be downloaded for Apple iOS and Android.
Developed in partnership with SchoolMessenger, the leading provider of communication solutions for education, the new app is built on a communication platform that permits the district to manage and share content easily. It will provide families with 24/7/365 access to district news, school calendars, live streams of Board of Education meetings, lunch menus, staff directories, PowerSchool, and more.
Individual users will also have the ability to control the settings to receive information from only those schools that are of interest.
