New London Releases Fall Yard Waste Collection Schedule

NEW LONDON, CT — The city has released the schedule for yard waste collection this fall. Yard waste collection will take place Nov. 4, Nov. 18, and Dec. 2.

Note that brown paper kraft bags are required. The bags are available at retail stores, according to the city.

Leaves should not be placed in plastic bags and no garbage should be placed in leaf bags.

Leaves, yard waste, grass clippings, and brush are accepted

Small quantities of brush should be tied with string and no longer than 4 feet.

Please leave your bags curbside during the dates above for yard waste collection.

Leaves can also be brought to the Transfer Station which has hours Monday through Friday 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 to 3:00 p.m., and on the following Saturdays: Nov. 4 and Dec. 2.
