New London Residents Concerned About Planned Venue: Report

NEW LONDON, CT — Neighbors are pushing back following a request to change a former church into a nightclub and venue space, The New London Day reported. Residents voiced their concerns about loud music late at night along with increased traffic at a Planning and Zoning Commission last week.

The new owner of the former Apostolic Cathedral of Hope at the corner of Starr and Green Street plans to open Stone Temple Venue on the site. The owner has applied for a special permit request to change the building's use and obtain a liquor permit.
