New London Schools Administrator Sues District
A school administrator is suing the district claiming she was the target of a "witch hunt," according to a report.
NEW LONDON, CT - School administrator Alison Burdick has filed suit against the district claiming that she was defamed, according to The New London Day. Burdick said she was the victim of a "witch hunt" and was placed on leave for cooperating with a police investigation into a school employee accused of sexual assault.
The civil suit was filed against Superintendent Cynthia Ritchie, former superintendent and current school board member Manuel Rivera, board member Mirna Martinez, Magnet School Director Kate McCoy and the entire Board of Education.
