New London Schools, Coast Guard Sign Partnership: Report
The U.S. Coast Guard Academy and New London Public Schools signed an agreement Monday.
NEW LONDON, CT — The U.S. Coast Guard Academy and New London Public Schools signed an agreement Monday, according to The Day of New London.
The agreement will lead to higher numbers of Coast Guard personnel serving in volunteer roles in the schools as mentors and tutors. The initiative is part of the Coast Guard's longstanding Partnership in Education program.
