NEW LONDON, CT — A teen has been charged with threatening to shoot up a New London school, according to police.

Police received information from federal and state law enforcement regarding the threat Wednesday at 10:44 a.m.

Police found the message on a social media site and traced it to a home in New London.

Police identified a 15-year-old male. He was charged with first-degree threatening and second-degree breach of peace.
