New London Urologist Fined For 'Inappropriate Treatment': Report
The state Medical Examining Board said a New London urologist has been fined for "inappropriate treatment of a patient's bladder tumor."

NEW LONDON, CT — The state Medical Examining Board said Tuesday a New London urologist has been fined $3,500 for alleged inappropriate treatment of a patient's bladder tumor, Connecticut Health-I-Team reported.
According to C-HIT, the board also put Dr. Anthony Quinn's medical license on probation for a year, during which he must hire a specialist to review his records for any patients diagnosed with bladder tumors or cancer.
The state Department of Public Health’s (DPH) began investigating the matter in 2012 after a patient complained she had to have another surgeon completely remove her bladder after Quinn cared for her, according to C-HIT.
