New London Woman Charged In Connection With Fatal Wreck: Police
A woman is facing charged in connection with a fatal car v. pedestrian accident from last year.
NEW LONDON, CT — A woman has been charged in connection with a fatal car v. pedestrian accident last year, according to police. Police received calls Nov. 16, 2020, at 5:48 p.m. reporting a pedestrian had been hit in the area of Broad Street and Channing Street in New London.
Emergency crews responded and pronounced the adult male victim dead at the scene. Members of the New London Police Department's Accident Reconstruction Team responded to investigate the accident.
Following a lengthy investigation, police obtained an arrest warrant for the driver involved. Tiesha Clark, 34, of 116 Ashcraft Road in New London, was charged on Wednesday with misconduct with a motor vehicle, reckless driving, operating under suspension, and traveling fast.

She was held on $100,000 bond.
