New London Woman Sentenced In Groton Arson Case: Report

A New London woman was sentenced this week after pleading guilty to charges that she set a fire at her former boyfriend's home.

NEW LONDON, CT — A New London woman was sentenced this week after pleading guilty to charges that she set a fire at her former boyfriend's home in New London, according to The New London Day.

Felicia M. Strong, 31, pleaded guilty to second-degree arson and third-degree burglary. She accepted an offer from state prosecutors to settle two pending criminal cases and serve four years in prison followed by six years of special parole.

Strong was accused of setting a fire Aug. 15, 2020, in the basement of a home her former boyfriend rented at 9 Depot Road.
