New London's Weekend Weather Forecast Includes Cloudy and Sunny Skies

Last weekend we saw strong storms in the forecast, but there’s only a slight chance of showers this weekend.

Yes, there will be some clouds but no chance of strong storms, and it appears Sunday will be a beautiful weather day if you have outdoor plans.

Saturday will begin mostly cloudy, but then the clouds burn off and the sun will make an appearance at some point in the afternoon. Sunday looks to be a beautiful late spring day.

Friday: A slight chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 54. East wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 72. North wind 8 to 13 mph.

Saturday Night: Clear, with a low around 46. North wind 3 to 5 mph.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 68. Northeast wind around 9 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon.

Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 50. South wind around 6 mph.
