The Coast Guard fell to New York University 8-1 at the National Tennis Center.
En route to posting their 8-1 win, the Violets commanded an early lead with a 3-0 finish in doubles competition. Success for NYU continued in singles matches with the team taking five of six.
Blake Maurer recored a 2-6, 6-2, 10-2 win at #6 singles for the only Coast Guard point. The Bears drop to 7-4 on the season.
