Obituary: Gregory James Pementil, 60, Of New London
He enjoyed the company of family and friends throughout his life and had unbelievable passion for the Boston Red Sox and New York Giants.

NEW LONDON, CT - Gregory James Pementil, 60, of New London and husband of Sandra Pointkowski Pementil, left the land of the living to join his ancestors on Dec. 2 with his wife at his side after a long illness. He was born March 24, 1957 in New London the son of Bernardo and Joan Pementil.
In addition to his wife and best friend Sandra, he is survived by two brothers; Bernardo and his wife Little Eagle, sister Darlene Taijpaul and her husband Dilip and Ramon Pementil and companion Michelle Blake all of New London and Valerie Bourbon and her companion John Parman of North Carolina, and 2 sisters; Joanne Tawfilis from Oceanside, CA and Regina Lewis and her husband K. Robert.
In addition to his parents he was pre-deceased by a sister Margaret Font.

A member of a widely diverse family and is father to Heather Marquis and her husband Rob, and step father to Michael Pointkowski of Oklahome and Jason and Tasha Pointkowski of New London and Elizabeth and Kevin Agan along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He attended New London schools and was formerly employed at Electric Boat in Groton. In latter years he worked in home remodeling and stained glass fields.
