Obituary: Joe Edward Head, 55, of New London
His loss is deeply grieved by his parents, his siblings, daughter, granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.

Joe Edward Head of New London passed away peacefully on December 9, 2016.
He was born on May 31, 1961 at the U.S. Naval Base in Portsmouth, Virginia. In his 40’s he decided to go back to school and had a second life career as an RN, last working at Interim Health Care as a visiting nurse.

His loss is deeply grieved by his parents, Helen Head of Mystic, George Head of Brookfield, MO, his siblings, Helen (Robert) Lancaster of New London, Lewis (April) Head of Ledyard, and Hannah Peil of Mystic. He also leaves behind his daughter Ashley (Mike) and granddaughter Emmeline Kelley of Tampa, Florida and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 15th at 6:00 at Byles-Memorial Home, 99 Huntington Street, New London.
