Obituary: Josephine Santiago, 73, of New London

NEW LONDON, CT - Josephine Santiago, 73, of New London passed away on February 23, 2017 at L M Hospital.

She was born on May 14, 1943, in Bronx, New York.

She was married for 54 years to Polonio Santiago of New London who survives her.

Josephine is also survived by her daughter, Julie Wilson, of New London, and her two sons Robert Santiago (Kathy), of Springfield, OR, and Paul J. Santiago (Tanya), of New London; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; her brother Jose Rafael Hernandez, of Norwich, her sister Lourdes Banta (John), of Oakdale; and her sister in law Ana Tejera, of New London.

She was predeceased by her brother William Tejera.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on February 27, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, 17 Squire Street, New London. There are no calling hours and burial is private.
