Nonprofit organizations in New London County receive $21,500 in grants from the Liberty Bank Foundation

The Liberty Bank Foundation has awarded organizations in the Greater New London area $21,500 in grants to support programs that will provide youth development, job training, STEM education, college preparation, housing assistance, and more.

The following organizations received grants:

Child and Family Agency of Southeastern CT, Inc. - $3,000 To support early childhood education for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children in New London and Groton

HigherEdge - $7,500 To provide intensive college access and success programming to low-income and first-generation college-bound students from New London County and Windham
