OVER $35,000 RAISED AT CONNECTICUT HUMANE SOCIETY'S FOURTH ANNUAL GALA AUCTION

The Connecticut Humane Society is pleased to announce that over $35,000 was raised at their 2015 Gala Auction

NEWINGTON, Conn. (November 11, 2015) – The Connecticut Humane Society is pleased to announce that over $35,000 was raised at their 2015 Gala Auction. The Gala was held at the Aqua Turf Club in Southington on Saturday, November 7, 2015. The funds raised will support the programs and services which the Connecticut Humane Society provides at its Newington, Westport and Waterford shelters and its public hospital Fox Memorial Clinic.

Over 130 guests enjoyed auctions, music, dinner and fun. Auction items included resort stays in Bermuda and Cancun, Mexico, sports memorabilia, artwork, spa and gift packages, and items from Brooks Brothers, Vineyard Vines and more.

Noted guests for the evening included CT Humane Society Humanitarian Society member and famed theatrical animal trainer Bill Berloni, and NBC Connecticut’s First Alert Traffic Reporter Heidi Voight. At the Gala Auction, the Connecticut Humane Society also debuted its new video, “Home - It’s what you do,” on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5gbqOs6T410 .
