Pets At New London Animal Control Seeking Homes

Lots of interest in Benny, but Latte needs a new owner as well

The adoptable population of the shelter is down to two dogs, both of whom are looking for loving new owners.

Latte is a female pit bull, about two years old. She's shy at first, but will warm up to you if you get to know her. She also seems to be housebroken, has been getting along with other animals, and would probably be best with older children. She could use some meat on her bones, although she has been getting a little stockier since arriving at the shelter.

There's been a lot of interest in Benny, so he might well be in a new home by the time this posts. A Lhasa Apso who is about two years old and weighs about 25 pounds, the shelter describes him as a friendly, playful dog who will need a lot of grooming to make sure his fur doesn't become too out of control. He seems mostly housebroken, and will need to be neutered.
