Pokemon Go Leads to Drug Arrests in Putnam: PD

Three people were charged after a man overdosed on heroin.

PUTNAM, CT— Three people are facing drug charges after being led to Putnam by the Pokemon Go game.

Officers responded to the Citizens National Bank parking lot after a drug overdose was reported and a victim was transported to the hospital, according to NBC Connecticut.

Heroin and suboxone along with drug paraphernalia were found.

Megan Gudeahn, 20, of Sterling Thomas Giroux, 25, of Rhode Island and Wesley Carpenter, 21, of Sterling were charged with possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia, according to Fox 61. They said they were led to Putnam by the Pokemon Go game.
