Police Arrest 3 On Narcotics Charges In New London

New London police said officers seized heroin, crack cocaine and more after arresting three men on narcotics charges.

NEW LONDON, CT - New London police said officers arrested three men on narcotics charges Wednesday. The investigation was part of narcotics field operations to address street-level narcotics violations, police said.

Members of the Connecticut State Police Statewide Narcotics Task Force East assisted in the investigation, according to a release. (To sign up for New London breaking news alerts and more, click here.)

Police said Richard Ocasio, 34, of Groton, was charged with possession of narcotics with intent to sell and within 1,500 feet of a school.

Police said Jason Rios, 37, of New London was charged with possession of narcotics with intent to sell and weapons in a motor vehicle.

Police said Cullen Faulise, 23, of Pawcatuck was charged with possession of narcotics.

Officers seized brass knuckles, approximately 6.6 grams of heroin, approximately 1.5 grams of crack cocaine, approximately 1.4 grams of cocaine and $1,228.
