Police responded to a call reporting gunfire Sunday night.

NEW LONDON, CT — Police are investigating following reports of gunfire in downtown New London.

Police received a call at 8:17 p.m. Sunday reporting shots fired in the area of Bank Street and State Street.

Police responded and found evidence of gunfire in the area. No injuries were reported.
