Police Investigate Stabbing In New London
A man was stabbed in the vicinity of a New London Walgreens store Sunday night.
NEW LONDON, CT — Police are investigating after a man was stabbed near a Walgreens Sunday night. Police responded to a 911 call at 7:22 p.m. reporting a person had been stabbed near the 698 Bank St. store.
Officers arrived and found a 37-year-old victim who had been stabbed, resulting in a serious, non-life-threatening injury. The victim was transported to Lawrence and Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Police said the crime does not appear to be a random act.
