Police Seize 25 Marijuana Plants During Search: New London PD
Police said a over 20 marijuana plants were found in a New London man's apartment.
NEW LONDON, CT — Police said officers found over 20 marijuana plants and more at the apartment of a New London man who was arrested Friday on an arrest warrant for an alleged domestic violence incident.
Police said Clem Ramsey, 35, of New London was charged on the warrant with breach of peace and threatening. A warrant has also been secured for charges of Cultivation of Marijuana, Operating a Drug Factory, Reckless Endangerment and Interfering with an Officer, which has not been served as of Wednesday, according to a release.
At approximately 5 a.m., narcotics officers and members of the state police Statewide Narcotics Task Force-East served a drug-related search and seizure warrant at the accused's Nautilus Drive apartment, police said.

During the search, officers located and seized approximately 148 grams of harvested marijuana leaves, 25 marijuana plants, marijuana grow equipment and a digital scale, police said.
The accused remains in the custody of the Connecticut Department of Corrections at this time, police said.
