Potential Developer Makes New Offer for New London Lighthouse Inn

NEW LONDON, CT- Grand Slam Holdings LLC has made an unsolicited $25,000 offer to become the preferred developer for the Lighthouse Inn, as reported by The Day.

The company is one of the finalists from last year’s bidding for the position, The Day reported. The aforementioned offer, which was emailed out Friday through an attorney, is a significant drop from their previous informal and conditional June 6 offer of $1 million.

The offer is being reviewed by the City Attorney while the city council awaits the results of an appraisal, according to The Day. The council had previously chosen preferred developer Michael Dattilo, who abandoned development plans earlier this month after failed negotiations.
