Pregnant Hospital Employee Tests Positive For Coronavirus
An L+M Hospital employee remains hospitalized.
NEW LONDON, CT — A woman who works at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital remains hospitalized after her water broke and she tested positive for COVID-19, according to The Day. Elsie Capo, 27, is six months pregnant and said she expects to stay hospitalized.
Capo initially went to the emergency room for breathing problems. The virus increased her labor, causing her water to break prematurely.
