Rabid Bat Visits Bedroom of New London Home

Do you know what to do if you find a bat in your house?

A bat found its way into a Woodlawn Road home last week and tested positive for rabies, according to Ledge Light Health District via The Day.

The bat was in a woman’s bedroom and while she was never in contact with it, Ledge Light Health District personnel told her to get treated for rabies just in case.

Personnel think the bat may have gotten into the house through a hole on the side.
