Thomas Evans, 86, of Norwich, was an accomplished pilot and captain in the Air Force before he became a pilot for Braniff Airlines.

Alexsandra "Sandy" Flaherty, 79, lived most of her life in Waterford, where she married the love of her life and devoted herself to raising her children.

Gladys “Dee-Dee” L. Buck, 72, of Mystic, grew up in North Stonington and worked at several restaurants and coffee shops in the area, most recently Red Rooster.
